Big Striped Pants

The three of us packed up the trusty car and headed South in search of Winter in the mountains of Switzerland. Finn took it all in stride, but seemed upset that no one asked for his passport.

We figured that we'd be in the hotel room much of the time, so we got a room right on the river in the old town that overlooked to the lake and mountains. Although we liked the view, Finn mostly stared at the timber beams inset in the walls. The contrast between the dark wood and white walls fascinated him.

We did get out of the hotel quite a bit, but Finn mostly slept while out. Exhibit A at right. We enjoyed it though. We walked the bridges, saw the buildings, and even ate out a restaurants.

Here are the photos.

Great pictures!

It's hard to believe how small Finn is. I think he's smaller than the "Wisconsin" on Beach's shirt!

Cool photos. Lucerne looks very swissy.

I remember hearing that little babies really can't see colors yet, so that makes sense that Finn would be excited by the graphic nature and high contrast of the timber-beam ceilings.

International Finn! Lucerne looks amazing....and Finn looks very at ease there. Glad you were able to get away for a change of scene.

Sar...you look great! Can't wait to see you all in a few weeks!
