Back to the ice

We headed back to the ice and took to the stakes for a second, and probably final time this year. Finn progressed to the point where he could stand on his own, even with the dullest blades in the world.


A few days ago, we were at a store to pick up some new things for the second baby and saw a rink next door. I took him in to see if there was a youth game going on; it was public skating. He kept saying "Shoes off...ice". I felt bad we had to go without skating that day.


He really got the hang of it in the second time out. It was too warm out for me though. All the skating and lifting left me very sweaty.



It'll be interesting to see next fall if he is as excited as he was his year.
