During a dog day of summer (20 July) we had Rowan and the family over for a pool party. We all sat outside and watched the kids play int he pool and even put our feet in a little. There's no better tradition than a backyard mini-pool in the hot summer. Finn is showing the camera a cherished water "toy", his travel toothbrush holder. They actually shared very well and there was no CPR required.
For food, we walked on down to the OTR Kroger and got chicken from their deli. The deli guy was very nice and gave us more chicken than we wanted, including sampes of his BBQ chicken that he was very proud of. The chicken was good and fresh too.
